Since I started the outfit posting in the new year, and didn't take the time to take pictures before then, I wanted to recreate my Christmas Day outfit to share with you guys. I love doing 'themed' dressing, how ever dorky that can get; you know: red and green for Christmas, hearts or red for valentine's, red white and blue for Fourth of July. Call it kitchy or not, I love it!

So, for Christmas day, I wore red and green. The best part? I got the red shoes I wanted from my holiday wish list just in time for the big day! Yay! Wouldn't you agree they're to die for? I even like them better than the nude version! And I adore

Hold on tight - a recreation of my New Year's Eve outfit is coming!

Vintage glass earrings

A details of my vintage glass drop earrings. I love these earrings because they are so dramatic, like dangling crystal balls. Plus green is my favorite color!

Miu Miu Backseam Pumps

These Miu Miu backseam pumps had been on my wishlist since August, so I was elated when I got them. They are fabulous, of course, and super, super high – a big plus when you're 5' 1". And polka dot tights make everything better.

Vintage satin bow bag.

The perfect accessory for the outfit was this amazing 60s satin bow clutch I got from Zola's Everyday Vintage. It kept beautifully package with an adorable vintage card, and has a tiny coinpurse inside. You put your hand behind the bow to hold it. How cute is that??!

I've also been wearing a lot more rings lately. The green one is a vintage malachite ring from Erie Basin. The pinky ring was a gift from my dad. My mom and sisters have matching ones, and I think I've had it since I was 15. The tiny gold band on the ring finger is my newest acquisition, and it's a memory ring from Catbird. I love it because it's so unusual, and you're supposed to wear it on your first knuckle.
