JANUARY
We began the year with my resolution to post outfit pictures. I didn't do that great of a job, and only posted a handful of outfits. Here are some of my favorites that I did take a photo of...

Will I be posting outfit pictures this year? Well, let's just say it's not my resolution... As many of you know, the outfit is the easy part - getting a good picture is a whole other project!
FEBRURARY
In February we were all about events, events, events!

I spoke at IFB's Evolving Influence Conference during NYFW and we sponsored & attended the Chictopia 10 conference as well.

And we participated in our first Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show, and featured some of our best sellers on our booth, who arrived with their most covetable pieces.
MARCH

We launched our new Lookbooks section, where you can shop the shoot directly from the photoshoot, and see our clothing in a fun and editorialized spread.
Our first lookbook to launch was Thaw Out, featuring photography by Kate Sims and the lovely Aubrey.

We headed to Austin, TX for SXSW and had tons of fun. Our first event was the New Media Fashion Brunch, hosted by Indiana of Adored Austin.

We turned 1! And we hosted a rad anniversary party with Paper Garden Records to celebrate!
APRIL

We collaborated with the adorable Rebecca of The Clothes Horse on a Lookbook.

We also hosted some exciting contest including one with Fashism and one with Chictopia!
MAY

In May, Market Publique curated the clothing & accessories department for Score!
JUNE

We collaborated with ModCloth on a special vintage collection and lookbook featuring Idée Geniale - and the proceeds went to charity!

Plus launched my personal favorite lookbook of this year, featuring Greta Eagan of GretaGuide.com.

And sponsored an amazing contest with Weardrobe.
JULY

We took advantage of the warm weather and sold some vintage at the Hester Street Fair.

Plus I got invited to style the Uniform Project's little black dress for Bright Young Things for their Style Challenger.

This is the outfit that I put together, which got me the 'Most Fantastical' title.
AUGUST
We presented Market Publique at the NY Tech Meetup to great response.
EcoSalon Exclusives: Inside the Vintage Vault with Pamela Castillo from EcoSalon on Vimeo.
And did an interview with EcoSalon.
SEPTEMBER

We launched a special vintage collection & lookbook with DLC Brooklyn, which made it to the virtual pages of Style.com and Harper's Bazaar.

We did a Pop-Up Shop with Fashism for Fashion's Night Out.

And attended tons of NYFW conferences like IFB & Chictopia & glamourous soirées.

And got featured in NEET Magazine.
OCTOBER

We did a lookbook with the lovely Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky.

And Birchbox.com invited me to show tips on how to wear vintage inspired makeup. Watch the video here.
The
We launched another lookbook, this time in collaboration with Rock Paper Vintage.
NOVEMBER

In November, we launched the lookbook featuring the winner of our Weardrobe contest, Rachel from Studio Swag, with some of our best photos yet.
DECEMBER
And for our busiest month ever - December!

We launched the most fun lookbook we've put together, with not one, but TWO models and not one but TWO fabulous vintage sellers - Hold My Gold & Rock Paper Vintage.
We were featured on thePLEAT as their favorite e-tailer.

We also collaborated on a glamourous Lookbook with Erstwhile Style and collages Holier than Now - stunning! The collages are not to be missed!

Old Hollywood did a special collection of jewelry exclusively for Market Publique.

And we participated in the BUST Craftacular!
Phew! That was a lot to get done in 2010. Thank to to everyone for their support, enthusiasm and hard work, and for making Market Publique the best community exclusively for vintage sellers online!
